VES Subgroups
The Vancouver Estonian Society has encompassed a large range of groups and community programs over the 75+ years of its history. Listed below are the current subgroups under the VES umbrella.
Kiivitajad
Started in 2015, this group was formed to attend and perform in the II Naiste Tantsupidu festival in Jõgeva, Estonia, sharing their love of Estonian folk dance.
Kilplased
An official dance group since 1995, Kilplased has performed at local events, West Coast Estonian Days festivals, ESTOs, and at 6 Tantsupidu festivals in Estonia.

Käsitööring
In 2012, the Handicraft Group was casually formed by a group of community members interested in fibre arts, including Estonian designs and traditions.

VES Raamatukogu
Since October 1952, the VES Library provides a wide range of literature, history, and educational materials—the largest library of Estonian books outside of Estonia.

VES Teatriring
With a long history of plays, performances, and workshops, the Vancouver Estonian Theatre Group is currently taking time to gather inspiration for future productions.
