VES Jaanipäev — June 20, 2026

Event begins at 1:00 pm

Join us in celebrating Jaanipäev 2026 together at Mäeotsa! Our biggest event of the year, all funds raised at this celebration help to support the upkeep of our Mäeotsa hall and property. Bring your family, friends, and your summer spirit for a day filled with music, singing, folk dancing, jaanituli bonfire, food and bar service, games, a lively raffle, and live DJs.

Performances by: Läänetuul Mixed Choir & Kilplased Folk Dancers
Evening dance party with guest DJs: DJ Snuggles, Leah Ipsum, Schemmatic

ADMISSION:
Adult VES Member: $15
Adult Non-VES Member: $25
Children & Youth (17 and under): Free
Saturday evening camping: $10 per tent or RV

Jaanipäev Program

We appreciate all help from Estonian community members and friends to keep our property clean, as well as your kind support of the program elements of the day.

1:00pm: Gate opens
2:00 pm: Flag raising
3:00pm: Games available, self-guided
5:00 pm: Welcoming remarks
5:30 pm: Läänetuul mixed choir
6:00 pm: Kilplased folk dancers
6:30 pm: Group dances
7:00 pm: Lottery draw
8:00 pm: Jaanituli bonfire & sing-along
(dependent on fire restrictions)
9:00 pm: Evening dance party with guest DJs:
DJ Snuggles, Leah Ipsum, Schemmatic

Note: Early campers are welcome to arrive on the evening of June 19th while the event setup is taking place. If you plan to arrive on Friday, RSVP to info@vesbc.com to confirm accessibility. The hall will then open on Saturday, with food and beverage service beginning at 1:00 pm.

Mäeotsa Guidelines to Respect Permits and Keep Everyone Safe:

Thank you for supporting the guidelines that have been put in place to keep Jaanipäev as a place to celebrate together for years to come.

  • Beverages are available for purchase in the hall, helping to support our fundraiser.
  • Drink responsibly!
  • All dogs must be leashed on the property during the event.
  • Bears and wildlife regularly visit our property. Do not leave any food or drinks out at your vehicle!
  • Kindly respect noise levels.
  • Mind your children – keep them safe and out of trouble.
  • No garbage or additional wood can be added to the jaanituli bonfire, respecting our bonfire permit and ensuring a safe event for all.
